The Minder Capri is backAs good as new!
This celebrity Capri from the 1980’s TV show “Minder” could be a nice little earner, now it’s been restored back to its former glory after being wrecked by fire. The 1977 white car, which starred in the opening titles of the cult show has now been restored by Classic Car Restorations which took 6 months and £25,000 to complete and the restoration was no bodge job worthy of an Arthur Daley fast one!
In 2016 the car was sold at auction for £68,000 and was purchased by a private owner.
Record breaking saleafter restoration
This Ford Escort 1974 Mexico was restored back to its original condition after many months of intensive work from the Classic Car Restoration team. This car was then sold at auction for a record-breaking price. It was the highest-priced classic car ever to have been purchased at an auction in the UK.
In 2018 the car was sold at auction for £62,500 and was purchased by a private owner.
